Devsinc is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join the team with a primary focus on automating API regression testing within the Anti-Fraud domain. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks for APIs, web, and mobile applications. The successful candidate will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, enhance automation coverage, and contribute to improving overall testing processes in a dynamic Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for API, web, and mobile applications, covering functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing. Automate API regression test cases specifically for the Anti-Fraud domain, continuously improving automation coverage and effectiveness. Maintain, refactor, and enhance existing test automation frameworks, autotests, test data, and automation utilities to ensure robustness and scalability.
Perform API automation testing to validate application functionality and integrations reliably. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, supporting test-run automation through tools such as TestOps and Allure integration. Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure comprehensive test coverage and identify potential quality risks early in the development cycle.
Identify, document, track, and validate defects while collaborating closely with developers to facilitate timely resolution. Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for autotests and automation frameworks to support knowledge sharing and maintenance. Support manual testing efforts when necessary and actively contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, framework maintainability, and automation effectiveness.
Collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams using tools like Jira, Slack, Git, and GitHub within an Agile development environment to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in QA Automation with a strong understanding of software testing concepts, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), test design, regression testing, and defect management.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Experience with Appium for mobile automation is advantageous where applicable. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C# is required. Knowledge of Kotlin for autotests is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong experience in API testing and automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent solutions. Proven ability to integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, including test-run automation.
Experience working with TestOps, Allure integration, and maintaining automated test frameworks. Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow is beneficial.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong teamwork skills and familiarity with Jira and Slack. Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Working proficiency in English to ensure effective collaboration and technical communication.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
