QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with experience in React development to join our expanding engineering team. This role focuses on designing, maintaining, and enhancing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications. In addition to QA automation, you will occasionally contribute to front-end development using React, helping to implement and improve user-facing features. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify testing needs, automate critical user journeys, and support the delivery of high-quality software. Strong English communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications, including end-to-end (E2E), integration, and regression tests.
- Identify critical user journeys and ensure they have appropriate automated test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Investigate, reproduce, and document software defects and unexpected test failures.
- Maintain and improve the reliability, performance, and maintainability of automated test suites.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test results to identify recurring issues or coverage gaps.
- Contribute to enhancing QA processes, testing standards, and automation strategies.
- Perform exploratory and manual testing as needed to support automation efforts.
- Assist with front-end development using React and JavaScript/TypeScript, building and maintaining reusable components.
- Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces and integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to established development standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs identified through automated or manual testing.
- Support improvements in performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

Required Qualifications

- 2 to 3 years of professional experience with a strong focus on QA automation, software testing, or JavaScript-based test automation.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Experience writing and maintaining E2E, integration, and regression tests.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, test case design, defect reporting, and QA processes.
- Experience testing modern web applications and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into development workflows.
- Experience with Git and modern version control workflows.
- Working knowledge of React.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Understanding of component-based architecture and modern single-page application (SPA) principles.
- Ability to debug issues across automated tests and front-end applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
