QA Engineer – Manual & API Testing

InnoxiTech is seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to join our expanding team based in Faisalabad. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of software quality, going beyond standard user flows to identify edge cases and unexpected behaviors before they reach production. This role requires a proactive mindset and a keen eye for detail to ensure our web applications deliver a seamless and reliable user experience. The position is full-time and onsite, suitable for professionals with 2 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web applications across multiple browsers and devices to ensure consistent performance.
- Develop and execute detailed test cases, scenarios, and comprehensive test plans.
- Conduct various testing types including functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and integration testing.
- Test REST APIs using Postman to validate backend functionality.
- Identify edge cases, usability issues, and unexpected user behaviors that could impact the product.
- Report bugs clearly with reproduction steps, supporting evidence, severity levels, and comparisons of expected versus actual results.
- Utilize Browser Developer Tools to investigate frontend, network, console, and API-related issues effectively.
- Validate data integrity and application behavior by running basic SQL queries.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure quality standards are met.
- Retest resolved issues and verify fixes prior to product releases.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and overall product quality.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in QA or software testing roles.
- Strong expertise in manual testing of web applications.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman.
- Solid understanding of test case creation, test scenarios, and various testing methodologies.
- Proven experience in functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Ability to think critically and identify edge cases beyond typical user flows.
- Excellent bug reporting and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Browser Developer Tools for debugging and issue investigation.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with issue-tracking tools such as Jira or GitHub Issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving approach.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Benefits
