Corvil, a division within Pico, is expanding its QA engineering team to ensure the quality of its high-performance, real-time analytics products. The QA team focuses on delivering automated and manual testing solutions that validate accuracy, performance, functionality, stress resilience, and use case scenarios. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and technically skilled team working in an agile environment to design and implement comprehensive test strategies that uphold the high standards of our industry-leading products.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a cross-functional agile team to test new product features throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure quality at all stages, from requirements analysis to test design, execution, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain cost-effective test strategies, plans, and cases for core financial and enterprise product features.
- Execute manual and automated tests covering functional, regression, performance, and system testing.
- Utilize scripting and programming skills, primarily in Python and Selenium, to automate testing processes.
- Verify thorough test coverage across UI, API, and integration layers, ensuring data integrity and validating end-to-end workflows.
- Operate within Linux environments to run tests, analyze logs, and troubleshoot issues.
- Track test progress, report results, identify risks, and propose mitigation plans.
- Detect, document, and verify product defects through to resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a senior QA role.
- Strong understanding of web technologies and front-end architecture.
- Proficiency in Python or another object-oriented programming language.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver or comparable test automation tools.
- Familiarity with API testing tools and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience working in Linux environments and knowledge of network protocols.
- Solid grasp of manual and automated testing best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of security and vulnerability testing concepts, including OWASP Top 10.
- Experience designing or maintaining test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.
- Relevant industry certifications such as ISTQB, CCNA, or CCNP.
This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining office presence with flexible remote work. While occasional travel may be required, it is not expected to be frequent. The role demands flexibility in working hours to accommodate multiple time zones across EMEA, USA, and APAC regions.
