The company is looking for passionate and creative Quality Assurance (QA) Engineers to join their teams and maintain the highest quality standards through collaboration and innovative testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review functional, technical, and design specifications to ensure comprehensive understanding for accurate testing.
- Provide precise testing estimates to support effective project planning and scheduling.
- Lead test plan and test case reviews with cross-functional teams to align on scope and testing approach.
- Execute, assess, and maintain both manual and automated test cases, documenting and reporting outcomes clearly.
- Conduct bug triage meetings to prioritize and resolve defects efficiently.
- Participate in root cause analysis to identify and prevent recurring issues.
- Validate deliverables to ensure they meet customer requirements and quality standards.
- Actively engage in sprint ceremonies, grooming sessions, and other agile processes to promote early QA involvement (shift-left testing).
- Advocate for continuous improvement in testing methodologies and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Between fresh graduate level and 2.5 years of hands-on experience in software testing and QA.
- ISTQB - CTFL certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of QA/testing processes including SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Java.
- Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall testing methodologies.
- Experience with integration, end-to-end (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and UI testing.
- Knowledge of exploratory, risk-based, boundary-value analysis, and equivalence partitioning testing approaches.
- Ability to create comprehensive test cases from requirements and user stories.
- Experience in defect management and tracking best practices.
- Competence in mobile (Android, iOS) and web application testing.
- Understanding of API testing, including response validation and error code differentiation.
- Awareness of the test pyramid concept covering unit, integration, and E2E test levels.
- Practical experience with automation tools such as Sofy, BDD frameworks, Maestro, JMeter, Postman, Rest-assured, Selenium, and K6.
- Experience with debugging, unit testing, and backend acceptance testing tools like Tavern and Postman.
- Exposure to chaos engineering and load testing concepts.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools including Jenkins, Bitrise, and cloud deployments.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with distributed version control systems, especially Git.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, with strong ownership, accountability, and a proactive mindset.
- Effective team player capable of collaborating across multiple departments.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Interest or experience in AI-driven testing tools and approaches such as AI test generation and defect prediction.
- Advocacy for shift-left testing principles to ensure early QA involvement.
- Flexible work schedule including 4 days in-office and 1 day remote per week, with the option to work remotely from any country for up to 30 days annually. For individual contributor tech roles, 2 office days and 3 remote days per week are offered.
