The QA Intern position at iTechGemini is a remote internship designed to support software quality assurance activities. The intern will assist in reviewing requirements and specifications, executing test cases, documenting defects, and verifying fixes to ensure reliable software performance. This role involves collaboration with QA and development teams to understand product functionality, contribute to test planning, and maintain clear and accurate test documentation. The intern will also gain exposure to best practices in quality processes, participate in team meetings, and help improve testing workflows continuously.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing software requirements and specifications to ensure clarity and testability.
- Execute manual test cases and document results accurately.
- Identify, report, and track software defects using established tools and processes.
- Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing as needed.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand product features and functionality.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test plans and test cases.
- Maintain detailed and organized test records to support quality assurance efforts.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on process improvements.
- Learn and apply industry best practices in software quality assurance and testing.

Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of core quality concepts, including Quality Control and Quality Assurance, applied to software testing.
- Familiarity with Quality Management principles and their importance in maintaining consistent standards and processes.
- Awareness of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or similar regulated-quality frameworks, with a willingness to learn domain-specific guidelines.
- Interest in Quality Auditing activities, such as reviewing documentation and processes to identify gaps and suggest improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail in identifying and describing issues.
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies; foundational knowledge of software development or testing concepts is advantageous.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
