QAQC Engineer (Mechanical)

MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a reputable contracting firm specializing in comprehensive Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team. As a sister company of IZHAR Construction Company Pvt Ltd., we are currently engaged in the PAK SUZUKI Project located in Port Qasim, Karachi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working on high-rise building MEP projects and will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all mechanical works meet established standards.
- Inspect welding activities to verify compliance with industry benchmarks and project specifications.
- Physically inspect electrical installations, including conduits, cable trays, and terminations, to ensure proper execution.
- Monitor ongoing construction activities to guarantee adherence to project standards, safety protocols, and technical specifications.
- Guide and supervise the project team to maintain consistent quality in all mechanical operations.
- Maintain detailed records of Inspection Requests (IR) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR).
- Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs), test reports, and other quality documentation in a timely manner.
- Create and manage comprehensive quality control documentation, including handover and test records.
- Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and procedures to ensure accurate implementation on site.
- Prepare interim payment applications (IPA) related to project progress and quality milestones.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in quality control within the MEP sector, particularly on high-rise building projects.
