We are looking for a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality compliance throughout mechanical and oil & gas projects. This role is essential in implementing ISO 9001 standards, managing inspections, and ensuring successful project delivery by maintaining rigorous quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage QA/QC plans, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), inspections, and handover documentation to ensure project compliance.
- Conduct thorough inspections during material receipt, fabrication, installation, and pre-commissioning phases.
- Witness testing and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities in accordance with relevant industry standards.
- Maintain comprehensive QA/QC records and coordinate effectively with contractors and third-party vendors.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in QA/QC within mechanical or oil & gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, API, and ASTM.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
