QA/QC Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality compliance throughout mechanical and oil & gas projects. This role is vital in ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 standards, managing inspection processes, and supporting the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and control within industrial environments, with a focus on mechanical systems and oil & gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage QA/QC plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspections, and handover documentation to ensure project quality standards are met.
- Conduct thorough inspections during material receipt, fabrication, installation, and pre-commissioning phases to verify compliance with specifications.
- Witness testing and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities in accordance with applicable industry standards and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate QA/QC records and collaborate closely with contractors, vendors, and third-party inspectors to ensure seamless quality management.
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying non-conformities and driving corrective and preventive actions to enhance quality processes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in QA/QC roles within mechanical or oil & gas projects.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and relevant industry standards such as ASME, API, and ASTM.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
