The QHSE Lead role is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies and procedures throughout the organization. The QHSE Lead ensures compliance with both local and international standards by conducting regular audits and inspections, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality performance. The role also involves coordinating risk assessments, investigating incidents, managing corrective actions, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting for internal and regulatory purposes. Additionally, the QHSE Lead provides training and coaching to staff on best practices, supports project teams, and works closely with management to promote a safe workplace and consistent product and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE management systems aligned with ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses within engineering, industrial, or power generation environments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and customer requirements by updating policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Lead training sessions, workshops, and awareness programs to enhance QHSE knowledge and practices among employees.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions, monitor performance through KPIs, and prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project personnel to embed a culture of safety and quality across all operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing QHSE performance and operational efficiency.
- Manage communication and stakeholder engagement related to QHSE matters, fostering a proactive safety culture.

Required Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and practical experience with QHSE management systems and ISO standards implementation.
- Proven expertise in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis in relevant industrial settings.
- Ability to develop, maintain, and enforce QHSE policies and documentation ensuring compliance with legal and customer standards.
- Excellent communication skills with experience delivering QHSE training and engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability in driving continuous improvement, corrective actions, and performance monitoring using KPIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Karachi and travel to other company locations or client sites as required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a proactive approach to safety and quality culture.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
