Quality Assurance Automation Lead

The Quality Assurance Automation Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of SimpliEd’s ERP, SIS, and LMS products. This full-time remote position involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks. The role requires close collaboration with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define quality standards, develop comprehensive test plans, and verify that new features and updates meet both functional and performance criteria. Daily responsibilities include creating automated test scripts, analyzing test results, identifying defects, and driving continuous improvements in QA processes. The lead will also mentor QA team members, establish best practices in automation, and contribute to documentation and reporting related to product quality and release readiness.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks for ERP, SIS, and LMS solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and develop test plans.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within QA processes and automation strategies.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers to enhance their skills and promote best practices.
- Contribute to documentation, reporting, and communication regarding product quality and release readiness.

Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, including designing robust test cases and validating product functionality.
- Strong background in Quality Management, with experience establishing standards and implementing continuous improvement practices aligned with organizational goals.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or similar quality frameworks to ensure compliance and structured processes.
- Experience in Quality Auditing, with the ability to review processes, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
- Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Skilled in scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with API testing, regression testing, performance testing, and integrating tests within CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor QA teams, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
