UTECH HUB is seeking a dedicated QA Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience to join their team onsite in Johar Town, Lahore. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of software quality, focusing on integration testing and comprehensive project documentation. A strong background in API and integration testing is essential, with Salesforce experience considered a significant advantage. This role offers a monthly salary ranging from PKR 100,000 to 150,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure software reliability.
- Test REST APIs and integrations using Postman or similar tools to validate seamless data flow between systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot integration issues by closely monitoring data exchanges.
- Develop and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and bug reports to track quality metrics.
- Prepare and update technical documentation, including API/integration documentation, SOPs, release notes, and user guides.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce defects and assist in timely resolution.
- Ensure all features undergo thorough testing prior to client delivery.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate production releases.
- Proactively identify edge cases and potential issues before deployment to clients.
- Utilize AI tools effectively to enhance testing, documentation, debugging, and overall productivity.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on integration testing.
- Strong proficiency in API testing, JSON, HTTP protocols, and tools like Postman.
- Solid skills in functional, regression, and integration testing methodologies.
- Excellent technical writing and documentation abilities.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios.
- Experience with project management and issue tracking tools such as Jira or ClickUp.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Salesforce testing is highly desirable, including knowledge of Flows, Apex/LWC functionality, APIs, integrations, permissions, data management, sandboxes, and deployment processes.
- Automation testing experience using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks is an added advantage.
- The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically proficient, well-organized, and committed to maintaining high standards in both quality assurance and documentation.
