Quality Assurance Engineer

Cyberify is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in testing web applications, SaaS platforms, APIs, and other software solutions to deliver a seamless user experience. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Multan, Pakistan, offering an opportunity to work closely with developers and product teams in a dynamic IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test plans to validate software functionality.
- Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear and reproducible steps to facilitate timely resolution.
- Conduct testing across multiple browsers and ensure responsive design compatibility.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to maintain software stability.
- Engage in exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential issues.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to improve product quality.
- Maintain detailed QA documentation and generate test reports to support transparency and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

- 1 to 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing and the ability to write clear, concise test cases.
- Familiarity with API testing and tools such as Postman.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience using bug-tracking and project management tools.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
- Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Exposure to SaaS or AI-powered applications is a plus.
