Quality Assurance Lead

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to oversee quality assurance efforts across our software products, with a particular emphasis on banking and financial applications. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on testing skills and strong leadership capabilities, including team management and effective collaboration with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage QA teams, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure efficient and effective testing operations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, including manual and automation testing approaches tailored to banking and financial software.
- Plan, design, and execute test cases, regression tests, and automation scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Oversee defect management processes, ensuring timely identification, documentation, and resolution of issues.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align QA activities with project goals and timelines.
- Take ownership of QA deliverables, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality standards and release readiness.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear updates on QA progress, risks, and outcomes.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with significant time spent in a QA Lead or senior QA role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in both manual and automation testing techniques.
- Demonstrated experience testing banking and financial applications, with a solid understanding of financial workflows and transaction processes.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage QA teams, ensuring high productivity and quality output.
- Extensive knowledge of test strategy development, test planning, test case design, regression testing, automation frameworks, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and industry-standard QA best practices.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to take full ownership of QA activities and drive initiatives that improve software quality and delivery timelines.
