The company, founded in 1990 and revitalized under the leadership of Chairman Hafiz Ferozuddin since 2009, operates a modern production unit that manufactures a diverse portfolio of pharmaceutical products, including tablets, capsules, injectables, syrups, ointments, cephalosporins, and nutraceuticals. Swiss Pharmaceuticals also provides contract and toll manufacturing services to international markets, focusing on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Quality Assurance Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the company’s commitment to delivering safe and effective healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and continuous improvement of quality assurance systems to ensure full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and internal policies. This includes developing, reviewing, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), supervising quality audits, and managing deviation and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes. The role requires thorough review of batch records and product documentation to support product release decisions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as production, quality control, regulatory affairs, and supply chain is essential to address quality issues, mitigate risks, and ensure smooth operations. Additionally, the manager will train and mentor QA staff, prepare for regulatory and customer inspections, and contribute to strategic quality initiatives that support the company’s growth and compliance objectives.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess strong expertise in pharmaceutical quality systems, including GMP compliance, documentation control, SOP development, and batch record review. Proven experience in conducting quality audits, managing deviations, performing root cause analysis, and planning and following up on CAPA activities is essential. A solid understanding of regulatory requirements applicable in Pakistan and international markets is required, along with familiarity with validation and qualification processes. The ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams across production, QC, regulatory affairs, and supply chain is critical. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are necessary, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for effective reporting, documentation, and staff training. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline. Several years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance are expected, with prior leadership or supervisory experience considered a significant advantage.
