Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Hive-health team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality products across both web and mobile platforms. Your primary focus will be on identifying bugs before they reach users, while working closely with developers, designers, and product managers to uphold and enhance our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, both manual and automated.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with developers to understand application functionality and ensure thorough test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools.
- Conduct smoke and sanity testing to ensure releases meet stringent quality standards.
- Create and maintain automated test suites to improve testing efficiency.
- Manage QA environments and maintain relevant test data.
- Continuously improve QA processes and maintain clear documentation.
- Ensure compatibility of applications across various devices, browsers, and operating system versions.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 1-2 years of proven experience in software quality assurance for both web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test automation frameworks for frontend and backend testing.
- Familiarity with API testing and tools such as Postman.
- Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience testing modern JavaScript-based applications.
- Hands-on experience with Flutter-based mobile application testing.
- Practical knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Background in performance and load testing.
- Understanding of AWS services, particularly for staging and test environments.
