Quality Control

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to join our manufacturing team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in quality control within a B2B manufacturing or industrial environment, along with hands-on expertise in SAP Business One (SAP B1). This role focuses on maintaining product quality standards, conducting thorough inspections, managing quality documentation, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with company and industry quality requirements. Practical experience with SAP B1 and relevant B2B manufacturing background are essential for consideration.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final product quality inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Identify product defects, deviations, and non-conforming materials, while monitoring production processes to maintain consistent quality.
- Verify product dimensions, appearance, functionality, and packaging standards, maintaining accurate inspection records and quality reports.
- Manage quality-related product, supplier, and inventory records within SAP Business One, including tracking inspection results, rejected materials, and quality transactions.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and procurement teams through SAP B1 to ensure accurate data flow and traceability of products and materials.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards, supporting ISO 9001 quality management procedures.
- Conduct regular quality checks, internal inspections, and assist with internal and external audits.
- Inspect incoming raw materials and components, liaising with suppliers on quality issues and maintaining supplier performance records.
- Monitor manufacturing and assembly processes to minimize defects and wastage, recommending corrective actions and improvements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports, analyze defect trends, conduct root cause analysis, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain quality KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum five years of relevant quality control experience in a B2B manufacturing or industrial business environment.
- Practical, hands-on experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of product inspection, quality assurance, and manufacturing quality procedures.
- Experience managing SAP B1 inventory records, Item Master Data, and quality documentation.
- Familiarity with SOPs, inspection procedures, and quality standards such as ISO 9001.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Must be based in or willing to work full-time in Islamabad.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

- Expertise in manufacturing quality control and quality assurance processes.
- Experience with incoming, in-process, and final inspections in a B2B industrial setting.
- Knowledge of supplier quality evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
- Strong skills in quality documentation, defect analysis, rejection control, and batch traceability.
- Ability to support manufacturing process improvements and ERP-based quality record management.
