Sovereign Warehousing & Distribution (SWD), a leading third-party logistics and warehousing provider with four facilities in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Associate. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the company’s quality management systems and ensure compliance across warehousing operations. SWD specialises in frozen, temperature-controlled, and ambient storage solutions for pharmaceutical, food & beverage, FMCG, and logistics sectors, managing approximately 40,000 pallet positions. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence within the Quality Assurance and Operations department.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout inbound, storage, inventory management, picking, and outbound processes.
- Conduct routine warehouse inspections and process audits to ensure adherence to quality, hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
- Verify inventory handling practices, including FIFO/FEFO compliance, product segregation, batch traceability, and stock integrity.
- Oversee cold-chain compliance by monitoring temperature records, storage conditions, and handling of temperature-sensitive products.
- Identify, document, and investigate non-conformities, operational deviations, product damages, and customer complaints.
- Coordinate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), track their implementation, and verify effectiveness.
- Maintain quality documentation such as inspection records, audit reports, and compliance checklists.
- Support internal and customer audits by ensuring documentation accuracy and timely resolution of observations.
- Analyse quality-related KPIs to identify recurring issues and recommend practical process improvements.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and operations teams to conduct SOP training and enhance procedural compliance.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, warehouse operations, logistics, FMCG, food processing, or pharmaceutical distribution.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, SOPs, internal audits, and CAPA procedures.
- Understanding of inventory management, warehouse processes, and cold-chain logistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting, documentation, and basic data analysis.
- Strong observation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, identify operational gaps, and follow through on corrective actions.
- Willingness to conduct regular inspections across SWD’s warehouse facilities in Lahore.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, or Good Distribution Practices (GDP) is considered an advantage.
