We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with extensive expertise in high-rise building projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and auditing project estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and quantity take-offs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements. This role involves preparing and auditing Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) based on verified site progress and verifying subcontractor bills, claims, and payment recommendations. The candidate will also be involved in auditing batching plant operations, concrete consumption, and material reconciliation to maintain cost control and project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and audit project estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and quantity take-offs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and audit Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) in alignment with verified site progress reports.
- Review and verify subcontractor bills, claims, and payment recommendations to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Audit batching plant operations, monitor concrete consumption, and perform material reconciliation to control wastage and optimize resources.
- Develop and validate detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and other project resources.
- Review and verify Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), reinforcement detailing, steel consumption, and steel test reports for accuracy.
- Conduct procurement evaluations, rate analysis, and cost comparisons to support effective purchasing decisions.
- Monitor material consumption regularly and perform reconciliation to identify variances and minimize wastage.
- Evaluate variation orders, contractual claims, and assess their commercial impact on the project.
- Audit finishing and architectural works, including MEP installations, plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, ceilings, doors, windows, and sanitary fixtures.
- Prepare comprehensive audit findings and technical reports for submission to the Head of Audit.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in Quantity Surveying, specifically for high-rise building projects.
- Strong expertise in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, cost control, procurement analysis, and commercial management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying or estimation software.
- Sound knowledge of construction contracts, material reconciliation, and project cost auditing.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and industry standards.

Work Location

- This position requires in-person attendance at the project site.

Compensation

- Salary starts from Rs 1.00 per month.
