Quantity Surveyor - Faisalabad

Position: Quantity Surveyor – Civil
Location: Faisalabad

Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in civil and infrastructure projects, including housing schemes, roads, water supply, sewerage, drainage, and related development works. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate quantity estimation, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), billing, cost control, site measurements, and verification of executed works to ensure project compliance and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs for civil and infrastructure projects.
- Estimate quantities for roads, water supply, sewerage, drainage, earthworks, PCC/RCC, and related infrastructure components.
- Conduct site measurements and verify quantities of completed works.
- Prepare and verify contractor and subcontractor bills, including Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs).
- Perform rate analysis for both new and existing BOQ items.
- Monitor project quantities against approved BOQs and construction drawings.
- Identify, document, and manage variations, additional works, and omissions.
- Verify quantities related to excavation, backfilling, road layers, pipe installation, manholes, drainage structures, and other infrastructure elements.
- Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate quantity measurement.
- Maintain detailed measurement sheets, quantity records, BOQ updates, and billing documentation.
- Assist in cost control, budget monitoring, and preparation of project financial reports.
- Coordinate effectively with Site Engineers, Planning Engineers, Contractors, Consultants, and Project Management teams.
- Verify materials and executed works for billing and payment purposes.
- Support the preparation of final accounts and project close-out documentation.
- Ensure all measurements and payments comply with contract terms, approved drawings, and specifications.

Required Qualifications:
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil and infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in housing schemes, road construction and development, water supply networks, sewerage systems, storm-water drainage, earthwork and site development, PCC/RCC structures, and infrastructure utilities.
- Proficient in quantity take-off and measurement, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, contractor billing, IPC processing, variation and quantity management, cost estimation, and cost control.
- Skilled in road and infrastructure measurement as well as water supply and sewerage quantification.
- Competent in AutoCAD and advanced MS Excel for documentation and analysis.
- Educational background in DAE, BSc, or BE in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications and Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on site and commercial quantity surveying experience, particularly within housing scheme infrastructure projects. They should be capable of independently measuring and calculating quantities related to roads, water supply, sewerage, and other civil development works. A proactive approach to coordination and communication with project stakeholders is essential.

Work Location: On-site presence required in Faisalabad.
