The Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role in managing project costs for civil engineering projects within the Lahore District. This full-time, on-site position involves overseeing costs from initial estimates through to final accounts. The role requires preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), monitoring budgets, and ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Daily responsibilities include cost planning, cost reporting, and close coordination with engineering, design, and project management teams to verify quantities, rates, and specifications. Additionally, the Quantity Surveyor will assist in tender preparation, evaluate contractor claims, support contract administration, and provide regular cost updates to stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices is essential to contribute to timely and financially controlled project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for civil engineering projects.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct cost planning and generate accurate cost reports to support forecasting and expenditure tracking.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, and project management teams to validate quantities, rates, and specifications.
- Assist in tender preparation and evaluation of contractor claims.
- Support contract administration activities and maintain documentation related to project costs.
- Provide regular cost updates and financial reports to project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, industry best practices, and local regulations.

Required Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cost control and cost management to maintain projects within approved budgets.
- Strong expertise in preparing and reviewing BOQs for civil engineering and construction projects.
- Competence in cost planning and cost reporting to facilitate accurate forecasting and expenditure documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software or related tools.
- Solid numerical and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, standards, and local regulations, preferably within the Pakistan context.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
