Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all cost aspects of construction projects, from initial estimates through to final accounts. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and develop project budgets.
- Create and manage tender documents for procurement processes.
- Evaluate contractor bids and proposals to ensure value for money.
- Monitor project budgets and track financial progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage variations and oversee payment processes to contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget constraints while adhering to quality and regulatory requirements.
- Apply a strong understanding of construction and landscape design principles in cost management.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in quantity surveying or a related role, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical skills combined with effective negotiation abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce clear documentation.
- Sound knowledge of construction laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the industry.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
