The role focuses on leading the Radio Frequency (RF) function, overseeing project costing, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, and price submissions for telecom projects. The position requires ensuring both technical quality and commercial competitiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate project costing related to RF planning, optimization, software licensing, hardware, tools, and associated telecom services.
- Analyze customer Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and tender documents to understand requirements and prepare detailed BOQs.
- Develop, review, and submit competitive commercial price proposals to customers within specified deadlines.
- Estimate costs related to manpower, licenses, tools, transportation, and subcontractors for each project.
- Collaborate closely with technical, procurement, finance, and operations teams to validate costs and profit margins.
- Negotiate pricing and project scope with customers and vendors as necessary to ensure alignment and competitiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Computer, or Electronic Engineering.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in the telecom sector, including 5 to 7 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong expertise in RF planning, optimization, and network rollout processes.
- Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing BOQs with a solid understanding of their components.
- Proven track record in project costing and cost estimation within telecom projects.
