Cardiff Med Institute is seeking a qualified Radiology Trainer to join their team in Lahore on a part-time basis. The role involves providing expert training in diagnostic and interventional radiology, primarily focusing on ultrasound techniques. The position requires availability from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, and is based on-site at Raza Block, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore. This opportunity is ideal for Consultant Radiologists, Registrars, or Residents who have a passion for teaching and mentoring students in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on ultrasound training to students, ensuring practical exposure on live patients while adhering to professional and ethical standards.
- Provide clinically oriented knowledge and real-time scanning techniques to help students develop strong diagnostic skills.
- Prepare and present structured lectures using PowerPoint presentations and other teaching materials.
- Develop, update, and maintain training content, slides, and course materials to keep the curriculum current and relevant.
- Guide students in interpreting ultrasound images and understanding the nuances of diagnostic radiology.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree with one of the following: FCPS, MCPS, MD, FRCR, and ARDMS certification in Diagnostic or Interventional Radiology.
- Alternatively, candidates with MBBS and FCPS Part 2 (Radiology Exam passed or result awaited) along with completed training are also eligible.
- Strong teaching and communication skills are essential to effectively convey complex concepts to students.
- Must be available to work on-site during the specified evening hours, six days a week.
