We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiopharmacist with a Pharm-D degree and 2 to 3 years of relevant experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring strict adherence to approved procedures and prescriptions. This role requires precision in handling radioactive materials and collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense radiopharmaceuticals according to approved procedures and prescriptions.
- Perform quality-control tests on radiopharmaceutical preparations, assessing identity, purity, activity, and sterility where applicable.
- Accurately calculate and measure radioactive doses tailored for individual patients.
- Handle, store, transport, and dispose of radioactive materials in compliance with radiation safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of radioactive materials, preparations, doses, quality-control outcomes, and waste disposal activities.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the preparation and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Investigate any preparation errors, quality-control failures, contamination incidents, or other deviations to ensure safety and compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with nuclear medicine physicians, medical physicists, pharmacists, technologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications:
- Pharm-D degree from a recognized institution.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in radiopharmaceutical preparation and handling.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information:
- Candidates located in or willing to reliably commute to Karachi Clifton are preferred. Relocation prior to starting work is encouraged.
- This is a full-time, in-person position.
