React Native Developer (Junior Level)

Located in Myco- Bahria Town Tower, PECHS, Karachi, this full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a React Native Developer with 1 to 2 years of experience. The role focuses on developing and maintaining mobile and TV applications within the OTT and streaming platforms industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in React Native and a strong desire to grow their skills in modern mobile and TV app development. Working alongside senior engineers, you will contribute to building high-quality applications, gaining valuable exposure to cutting-edge streaming technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain React Native applications for both Android and iOS platforms. Create reusable UI components and screens based on design specifications to ensure a seamless user experience.

- API Integration: Integrate RESTful APIs efficiently and manage data flow within the applications to support dynamic content and user interactions.

- Feature Enhancements: Implement new features and improve existing functionalities. Identify, debug, and resolve application issues and bugs to maintain optimal performance.

- Code Quality: Produce clean, maintainable, and well-structured code. Actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions to uphold coding standards and best practices.

- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, backend developers, and QA engineers. Follow established development standards, coding guidelines, and industry best practices to ensure project success.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in React Native development.

- Core Skills: Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. Proficient with React concepts including Hooks, Components, Navigation, and Lifecycle methods.

- State Management: Practical experience with state management tools such as Zustand, Redux, or Context API.

- Networking & Tools: Skilled in integrating REST APIs with a good grasp of asynchronous programming and API handling. Familiarity with Git and version control workflows is essential.

- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues effectively. Solid fundamentals in mobile application development.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in publishing or maintaining mobile applications on app stores.

- Exposure to video playback integration using libraries like react-native-video.

- Familiarity with Firebase services such as Analytics, Crashlytics, or Push Notifications.

- Basic knowledge of application performance optimization techniques.

- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
