React Native Lead

Systems Limited is looking for a highly skilled Lead React Native Developer with 8 to 12+ years of experience to design, develop, and lead the delivery of enterprise-grade mobile applications within the Banking and FinTech domain. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, mobile architecture, and native Android/iOS integrations. This role requires proven experience in leading development teams, mentoring engineers, and collaborating effectively across multiple technical and product teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and lead the implementation of enterprise React Native applications.
- Collaborate closely with Product, QA, Backend, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor junior and senior developers, and promote best practices across the development lifecycle.
- Ensure applications meet performance, security, and scalability standards.
- Provide support for production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and manage release cycles efficiently.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Redux, and React Navigation.
- Experience with native Android development using Java/Kotlin and iOS development using Swift/Objective-C, including integration with React Native.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, OAuth, and JWT for secure and efficient data communication.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Expertise in testing frameworks including Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Appium.
- Hands-on experience with Firebase, Crashlytics, AppsFlyer, push notifications, and deep linking.
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices, including OWASP guidelines, SSL, certificate pinning, and secure storage mechanisms.

Domain Experience (Mandatory)

- Extensive experience working within the Banking, FinTech, or Digital Banking sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of customer onboarding processes, KYC/eKYC compliance, payments, card management, and mobile banking solutions.
- Preferred experience integrating advanced biometric technologies such as OCR, face recognition, or other biometric authentication methods.

Leadership and Soft Skills

- Demonstrated strong ownership and accountability for project outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and debugging skills.
- Proven track record of leading teams, conducting effective code reviews, and mentoring engineers to elevate team performance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a quality-first mindset.
