We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Unpaid Trainee to join our remote team for a three-month period. This role is designed for candidates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in mobile app development using React Native. The trainee will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, collaborating with the team on various projects and enhancing their technical skills in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain iOS and Android applications using React Native.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles to write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Work with SQL databases and Firebase for backend integration.
- Assist in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party APIs into mobile applications.
- Participate in problem-solving sessions and contribute to logic building and critical thinking exercises.
- Collaborate with team members to complete project milestones and deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native frameworks.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and data structures.
- Proficiency in logic building, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience developing one or more iOS or Android applications using React Native.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and Firebase for data management.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with RESTful API and third-party API integration is highly desirable.
- Completion of a final year project using React Native will be considered an advantage.
