React Native Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic unpaid trainee to join our remote team for a three-month period. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or final-year students with a background in Computer Science or Information Technology who are eager to gain hands-on experience in mobile app development using React Native. The trainee will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, contributing to real projects and enhancing their technical skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of iOS and Android applications using React Native.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles to write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into mobile applications.
- Participate in problem-solving sessions and contribute to logic building and critical thinking exercises.
- Support database management tasks involving SQL and Firebase.
- Engage in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native frameworks.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and data structures.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and Firebase for backend support.
- Proficiency in logic building, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience developing one or more iOS or Android applications using React Native.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with RESTful API and third-party API integration is highly desirable.
- Completion of a final year project using React Native will be considered an advantage.
