Huawei is seeking experienced Regional Datacom Field & Configuration Engineers to join their team across Pakistan. The ideal candidates will have approximately two years of hands-on experience in field deployment, installation, testing, commissioning, and configuration support of Datacom Network Elements (NEs) within regional networks. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and integration of network equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys, verify site readiness, and prepare detailed field documentation.
- Perform physical installation tasks including rack mounting, cabling, and commissioning of Datacom NEs such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Configure, provision, and integrate Network Elements according to approved design packages.
- Execute NE-level testing, loop checks, service turn-up, and acceptance testing to ensure operational readiness.
- Diagnose and resolve faults related to hardware, cabling, physical layer, and configuration issues.
- Support regional projects involving network expansion, equipment swaps, upgrades, and mergers.
- Coordinate effectively with regional planning teams, vendors, and internal departments while adhering to deployment guidelines and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in Datacom network deployment and configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Huawei equipment (NE, CX, ATN) as well as Cisco, Juniper, or Nokia Datacom devices.
- Proficient in multi-vendor Datacom NE installation, commissioning, integration, provisioning, and service turn-up processes.
- Solid understanding of routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, as well as Quality of Service (QoS) and Network Management System (NMS) platforms.
- Knowledge of fiber and copper cabling standards, power systems, and use of physical layer testing tools such as OTDR, power meters, and BER testers.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Experience:
- Experience working on network swap, upgrade, and merger projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with major telecom operators in Pakistan such as Zong, Jazz, Telenor, Ufone, or PTCL is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively across cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role.
