Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is seeking a Relationship Manager - Asset to play a pivotal role in managing and growing client relationships through personalized financial solutions. This position requires a strategic approach to asset sales, focusing on understanding clients’ financial goals and delivering tailored products that align with their needs. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for driving asset sales, ensuring compliance with bank policies, and leading a team to achieve business targets while maintaining high ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement approved sales and service plans to meet the bank’s growth objectives by coordinating with Branch Managers and Relationship Managers.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by selling bank products in accordance with defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Achieve sales targets through genuine lending practices, avoiding unethical lending such as family loans or activist-based lending.
- Market bank products effectively and devise strategies to expand the customer base.
- Identify business opportunities by evaluating industry prospects and customer profiles using the five Cs of credit.
- Communicate product terms and conditions clearly to customers and ensure physical verification of prospective clients.
- Ensure timely loan repayments through proactive communication and adherence to collection procedures.
- Handle customer legal documents with utmost care to prevent misuse.
- Guide customers to make loan repayments at designated cash counters and avoid cash handling during Relationship Officer functions, ensuring strict compliance during field collections.
- Prepare weekly field activity plans and monitor deviations in consultation with Line Manager.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly customer meetings as per product programs.
- Ensure loan bookings comply strictly with bank policies, ethics, and standards.
- Continuously update product knowledge and recommend improvements based on client feedback.
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and review existing markets in collaboration with the line manager.
- Maintain high service standards to prevent customer complaints, adhering to the bank’s fair treatment policy.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with customers to enhance the bank’s reputation.
- Report any suspected fraud or potential losses to the appropriate authorities within the bank.
- Ensure compliance with bank SOPs and State Bank of Pakistan regulations to safeguard the bank’s reputation and minimize risks.
- Lead and coordinate microcredit business activities, ensuring profitability and target achievement.
- Develop and implement relationship strategies focused on loan verification, disbursement, collection, and cross-selling.
- Manage the asset portfolio of the branch, driving sales, verification, and collection efforts.
- Motivate and lead the team to maximize business volumes and employee retention.
- Train and supervise Relationship Officers to ensure accurate credit assessments and customer verifications.
- Plan capacity to meet loan volume objectives and maintain zero defaults through effective verification and collection.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure timely loan disbursement and adherence to SOPs.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the microfinance industry.
