National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking (OG-II/OG-I) within its Corporate & Investment Banking division, based in Lahore. This role is designed for professionals who can effectively manage and grow corporate client relationships, contributing to the bank’s strategic objectives and business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate banking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to understand their banking needs and provide tailored financial solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate sector to expand the bank’s client base.
- Manage the entire credit process, including assessment, documentation, and monitoring of corporate loan portfolios.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of banking products and services to clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with the bank’s policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management guidelines.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management regarding client portfolios and business development activities.
- Participate in negotiations and structuring of complex corporate banking transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

Required Qualifications

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Proven experience in corporate banking or relationship management, preferably within a reputable financial institution.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and familiarity with banking products and services.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Candidates with a Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent will be given preference. Experience in investment banking or corporate finance advisory is an added advantage.
