Relationship Manger China Coverage - Lahore

This role focuses on managing and expanding business relationships with key Chinese corporate clients, driving revenue through various banking products such as trade finance, deposits, remittances, guarantees, and foreign exchange. The position requires close collaboration with internal departments to streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction. The incumbent will also be responsible for cross-selling a wide range of products from Corporate, Retail, Investment, and Transaction Banking divisions, ensuring timely response to client queries and needs.

Key Responsibilities

Business Generation:
Identify and develop relationships with key Chinese companies to generate business across multiple banking products. Engage frequently with internal stakeholders including Financial Institutions, Legal, CTP, and Branch teams to resolve issues and optimize processes. Actively promote and cross-sell products to increase wallet share from various banking segments.

Portfolio Management:
Enhance customer understanding by educating clients on banking policies, practices, and products. Customize banking solutions to meet client requirements, thereby improving satisfaction. Maintain rigorous administrative discipline including file management, governance, and call reporting to comply with internal and external audit standards. Conduct due diligence on transactions to assess risk profiles in line with regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and minimizing penalties. Monitor portfolio performance closely to identify early warning signs and maintain high-quality account health. Stay informed about market conditions and adapt to evolving client needs.

Client Management:
Maintain high service quality through effective communication, including regular business calls to assess client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement. Lead relationships with product partners to ensure consistent delivery of agreed service standards. Independently resolve client complaints and queries, recommending alternative solutions when necessary to maintain efficient day-to-day service.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within Corporate or Commercial Banking.
