At Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL), the Relationship Officer Asset plays a crucial role in building and maintaining strong connections between the bank and its customers. This position involves understanding clients’ unique financial needs and goals, providing personalized guidance, and facilitating access to various banking products and services. The Relationship Officer acts as a trusted point of contact, ensuring a seamless banking experience by assisting with account openings, loan processing, and addressing customer inquiries with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement approved sales and service plans to achieve the bank’s growth objectives by coordinating micro-level sales strategies with Branch Managers and Relationship Managers.
- Establish and develop customer relationships in line with the bank’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote product sales.
- Achieve sales targets ethically by avoiding practices such as family loaning, activist base lending, and adjustment lending.
- Drive profitability by increasing loan sales and expanding the customer base while adhering strictly to SOPs.
- Market bank products effectively and contribute to strategy development.
- Utilize strong persuasion and negotiation skills to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Evaluate customer profiles using the five C’s of credit and clearly communicate product terms and conditions.
- Conduct physical verification of prospective clients to ensure accurate performance tracking.
- Proactively manage loan collections by maintaining regular communication with clients, ensuring timely repayments, and achieving 100% loan recovery in compliance with bank policies.
- Handle customer legal documents with utmost care to prevent misuse.
- Guide customers to make loan repayments at designated cash counters and avoid direct cash handling during routine Relationship Officer functions; ensure strict adherence to collection manuals when collecting from the field.
- Prepare weekly field activity plans and report deviations in consultation with the Line Manager.
- Organize monthly and quarterly customer meetings aligned with product programs.
- Process loan bookings in strict compliance with the bank’s policies, procedures, ethics, and standards.
- Continuously update product and service knowledge and recommend improvements based on client feedback.
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and assess existing markets, consulting with line managers for strategic decisions.
- Maintain high internal service standards to prevent customer complaints, adhering to the bank’s fair treatment of customers policy.
- Foster long-term relationships between the bank and its customers.
- Report any suspected fraud or potential losses to the Line Manager or Head of Department promptly.
- Ensure full compliance with bank SOPs and State Bank of Pakistan regulations to protect the bank’s reputation and prevent financial or operational risks by strictly following internal control standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution is mandatory.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience in a related field.
