At Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL), the Relationship Officer Asset plays a crucial role in building and maintaining strong connections between the bank and its customers. This position involves understanding clients’ unique financial needs and goals, providing personalized assistance, and guiding them through various banking products and services. The officer acts as a dedicated point of contact, ensuring a seamless and tailored banking experience while supporting the bank’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement approved sales and service plans to meet the bank’s growth targets by coordinating micro-level plans with Branch Managers and Relationship Managers.
- Establish and develop customer relationships in line with the bank’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote and sell financial products.
- Achieve sales targets ethically by avoiding practices such as family loaning, activist base lending, and adjustment lending.
- Drive profitability through loan sales and customer base expansion while adhering strictly to SOPs.
- Market bank products effectively and contribute to strategy development.
- Demonstrate strong persuasion and negotiation skills to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Evaluate customer profiles using the five C’s of credit to assess creditworthiness.
- Clearly communicate product terms and conditions to customers.
- Conduct physical verification of prospective clients to ensure on-track performance.
- Proactively manage loan collections by maintaining timely communication with clients and ensuring 100% repayment compliance.
- Handle customer legal documents with utmost care to prevent misuse.
- Guide customers to make loan repayments at designated cash counters, avoiding cash handling during routine Relationship Officer duties; ensure strict compliance with collection manuals during field collections.
- Prepare weekly field activity plans and report deviations in consultation with Line Managers.
- Organize monthly and quarterly customer meetings according to product programs.
- Conduct loan bookings in strict compliance with bank policies, ethics, and standards.
- Continuously update product and service knowledge and recommend improvements based on client feedback.
- Perform market assessments and research to identify new sales opportunities and review existing markets in collaboration with line management.
- Maintain high internal service standards to prevent customer complaints, following the bank’s fair treatment of customers policy.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and trust.
- Report any suspected fraud or potential losses to the appropriate line manager or Head of Department.
- Ensure full compliance with bank SOPs and State Bank of Pakistan regulations to protect the bank’s reputation and prevent financial or operational losses by adhering to internal control standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution is mandatory.
- Preferably 0-1 year of relevant experience in a related field.
