Key Responsibilities
- Implement approved sales and service plans to achieve the bank’s growth objectives by coordinating with Branch Managers and Relationship Managers on micro-level sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships by actively selling bank products in accordance with the bank’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Achieve sales targets ethically by avoiding practices such as family loaning, activist-based lending, and adjustment lending.
- Increase profitability through loan sales and customer base expansion while strictly following SOPs.
- Market company products and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
- Utilize strong persuasion and negotiation skills to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Evaluate customer profiles using the five C’s of credit and clearly communicate product terms and conditions.
- Conduct physical verification of prospective clients to ensure accurate performance tracking.
- Proactively manage loan collections by maintaining regular communication with clients to ensure timely repayments and 100% collection rates.
- Handle customer legal documents with utmost care to prevent misuse.
- Guide customers to make loan repayments exclusively at cash counters and avoid direct cash handling during routine Relationship Officer functions. Field collections must comply strictly with the collection manual.
- Prepare weekly field activity plans and report deviations in consultation with the Line Manager.
- Organize monthly and quarterly customer meetings aligned with product programs.
- Ensure loan bookings comply fully with the bank’s policies, procedures, ethics, and standards.
- Continuously update product and service knowledge, recommending improvements based on client feedback.
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and assess existing markets in collaboration with the line manager.
- Maintain high internal service standards to prevent customer complaints, adhering to the bank’s fair treatment of customers policy.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships between the bank and its customers.
- Report any suspected fraud or potential losses to the line manager or Head of Department promptly.
- Ensure full compliance with bank SOPs and State Bank of Pakistan regulations to protect the bank’s reputation and prevent financial or operational losses by strictly following internal control standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution is mandatory.
- MBA qualification is preferred.
- 0-1 year of relevant experience in a similar role is desirable.
