Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is seeking a dedicated Relationship Officer SME to manage and nurture relationships with small and medium-sized enterprise clients. This role focuses on understanding and fulfilling the financial needs of SME customers while driving revenue growth for the bank. The successful candidate will work closely with business managers and relationship managers to implement sales and service plans, explore new market opportunities, and ensure compliance with the bank’s policies and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities

- Implement approved sales and service plans to achieve growth objectives by coordinating micro-level plans with business and relationship managers.
- Conduct market assessments and research to identify new selling opportunities and evaluate existing markets in consultation with line management.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by selling bank products in accordance with defined standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Achieve sales targets ethically by avoiding family loaning, activist lending, and adjustment lending practices.
- Enhance the bank’s profitability through loan sales and customer base expansion while strictly following SOPs.
- Market company products and contribute to strategy development for business growth.
- Identify business opportunities by evaluating industry prospects and customer profiles using the five C’s of credit.
- Communicate product terms and conditions clearly to customers and ensure physical verification of prospective clients.
- Proactively manage loan collections by maintaining timely communication with clients and ensuring 100% repayment in line with bank procedures.
- Handle customer legal documents with utmost care to prevent misuse.
- Guide customers to make loan repayments at cash counters and avoid direct cash handling during field collections, ensuring compliance with the collection manual.
- Prepare weekly field activity plans and report deviations in consultation with line management.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly customer meetings as per product program requirements.
- Ensure loan booking complies strictly with bank policies, procedures, ethics, and standards.
- Continuously update product and service knowledge and recommend improvements based on client feedback.
- Maintain high internal service standards to prevent service-related complaints, adhering to the bank’s fair treatment of customers policy.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships between the bank and its customers.
- Report any suspected fraud or potential losses to line managers or heads of departments.
- Ensure compliance with bank SOPs and State Bank of Pakistan regulations.
- Protect the bank’s reputation by adhering to internal control standards to avoid financial, operational, or market losses.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution is mandatory.
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
