Remote Dispatcher (Ambulance & Healthcare)

Infina Health is seeking experienced dispatchers to join our team across all shifts to support our expanding operations. Candidates must have prior EMS experience and be prepared to work flexible hours, as positions are available 24/7. We strive to accommodate various work schedules to ensure coverage around the clock.

As a dispatcher, you will be responsible for receiving requests, transmitting messages, and tracking vehicles efficiently. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who remains calm and composed during emergency situations. You should be capable of multitasking and making sound decisions independently. Your primary goal will be to facilitate clear and timely communication between different parties by ensuring accurate information transmission.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive emergency and non-emergency calls, accurately recording all significant information.
- Address problems and requests by transmitting relevant information or providing appropriate solutions.
- Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries as required.
- Prioritize calls based on urgency and importance to ensure effective response.
- Utilize radio, phone, or computer systems to dispatch crews, vehicles, or field units to designated locations.
- Monitor routes and the status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedules efficiently.
- Provide field units with up-to-date information regarding orders, traffic conditions, obstacles, and specific requirements.
- Enter data into computer systems and maintain detailed logs and records of calls, activities, and other pertinent information.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a relevant position, preferably within EMS.
- Fast and accurate typing skills with experience in data entry.
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and guidelines.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Active listening skills combined with clear and concise communication abilities.
- Sound judgment and critical thinking capabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
