Remote Pod Lead

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small team of annotators, overseeing daily activities and providing support as needed.
- Clarify annotation guidelines and resolve recurring issues to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct weekly team meetings to share project updates and ensure alignment.
- Onboard new annotators and assist them during their initial tasks to ensure smooth integration.
- Monitor team performance, identify quality concerns, and coordinate retraining efforts.
- Confirm annotator readiness post-retraining and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality work.
- Report progress, challenges, and support needs to the Team Lead in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience, with a background in team leadership, mentoring, or coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
- Effective communication skills with a supportive and problem-solving approach.
- Experience in annotation, data labeling, or AI training data is preferred but not mandatory.

This is a project-based role involving a set number of evaluation tasks. Each task requires comparing multiple chatbots and providing a final assessment based on performance. The work schedule includes five working days per week, which may include weekends, with two weekdays off. The expected working hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM PST. The duration of the engagement is 16 weeks.
