Require Fresh/Experienced Commerce Graduates for NOC Rate Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Rates Officer to manage and maintain telecom rates for both customers and vendors. This role involves processing rate sheets, updating rate tables, validating billing increments and destination codes, and ensuring timely communication of rate changes. The ideal candidate will work closely with various internal teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency in rate management within a fast-paced telecom environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and manage incoming and outgoing rate sheets, updating rates in relevant systems.
- Review and validate rates, destination codes, billing increments, effective dates, and prefixes to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain customer and vendor rate tables in JeraSoft and other internal platforms.
- Prepare and distribute rate notifications and pricelists to customers within established timelines.
- Conduct routing analysis and coordinate routing updates with appropriate teams.
- Monitor and resolve rate mismatches, code closures, and rerating requirements.
- Verify number lengths, destination breakouts, prefix mappings, and destination codes.
- Support whitelisting activities and collaborate with NOC and Provisioning teams.
- Perform quality control checks to confirm rates and billing increments are accurately updated and communicated.
- Coordinate with Account Managers, vendors, customers, Provisioning, Billing, and NOC teams on rate-related matters.
- Maintain rate tracking sheets, reports, records, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all rate-related activities are completed accurately and within required timelines.
- Escalate discrepancies or technical issues to relevant teams for prompt resolution.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, or a related field (B.Com, BBA, or equivalent).
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and general computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced telecom or VoIP environment.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts if required.

Compensation and Work Location

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs35,000 to Rs40,000. This is an in-person role requiring the candidate to work onsite.
