Mughal Medical and Gyne Center, a Punjab Healthcare Commission licensed facility located in Johar Town, Lahore, is seeking a qualified and experienced Gynaecologist to join their Obstetrics & Gynaecology department on a full-time basis. The center specializes in comprehensive women’s healthcare services including pregnancy care, ultrasound and Doppler diagnostics, infertility management, and general gynaecological treatments. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to patients, contributing to the center’s commitment to excellence in women’s health.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide thorough consultation and treatment for patients in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Manage antenatal and postnatal care, ensuring comprehensive pregnancy-related support.
- Conduct and oversee normal deliveries and Caesarean sections as necessary.
- Respond promptly and effectively to obstetric and gynaecological emergencies.
- Perform gynaecological procedures and minor surgical interventions with precision.
- Assess and manage infertility and reproductive health issues.
- Diagnose and treat common gynaecological conditions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and clinical documentation.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans, pregnancy care, and follow-up protocols.
- Collaborate closely with ultrasound/radiology, nursing, and other clinical staff to ensure integrated patient care.
- Uphold high standards of patient safety, infection control, and professional ethics.
- Participate in on-call duties and emergency coverage as required by the hospital.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree with relevant postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology is preferred.
- Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
- Demonstrated clinical experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, including managing deliveries, Caesarean sections, and obstetric emergencies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to counsel patients effectively.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Professional, responsible, and patient-centered approach to medical care.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in Johar Town or nearby areas.
