LUMS National Center for Nanoscience & Nanotechnology (NCNN) is seeking motivated candidates for multiple positions funded under the PSDP program. Opportunities are available for Research Associates, Electronic Technicians, as well as PhD and MS scholars interested in contributing to cutting-edge research in nanoscience and nanotechnology. Key Responsibilities
For Research Associates, responsibilities include designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to research publications. They will collaborate closely with faculty members and other researchers to support ongoing projects and help develop new research proposals. Electronic Technicians will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory instruments and electronic equipment, ensuring smooth operation of experimental setups. PhD and MS candidates will engage in rigorous research activities, participate in seminars, and contribute to the academic community through presentations and publications.
Required Qualifications
Research Associate applicants must hold a relevant Master’s or PhD degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, electrical engineering, or related fields, with a strong background in nanoscience or nanotechnology. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in experimental techniques and data analysis. Electronic Technician candidates should possess a diploma or equivalent qualification in electronics or electrical engineering, along with hands-on experience in maintaining laboratory instruments. PhD and MS applicants must have completed their previous degrees with strong academic records in relevant scientific disciplines and show a keen interest in research.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
