We are seeking a seasoned and dedicated Restaurant General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our restaurant operations in Islamabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team, maintaining high service and quality standards, controlling costs, and driving customer satisfaction to meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Lead, train, and motivate restaurant staff and department heads to maintain high performance.
- Uphold strict standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and hygiene.
- Monitor sales, expenses, and operational costs to optimize profitability.
- Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets through effective management and strategic initiatives.
- Address customer complaints promptly to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Oversee staff scheduling, attendance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate with kitchen, service, accounts, procurement, and other departments to maintain seamless operations.
- Monitor inventory levels, control wastage, and manage food costs effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular operational inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review.
- Manage cash handling processes and enforce proper financial controls.
- Identify operational challenges and develop practical solutions to improve efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to boost sales, enhance customer retention, and improve overall restaurant performance.
- Foster a professional and positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in restaurant management or hospitality operations.
- Proven background as a Restaurant Manager, Operations Manager, or General Manager is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle customer interactions professionally.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations including food cost management, inventory control, and staff supervision.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and basic reporting tools.
Compensation and Work Environment
The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs100,000. This role requires the candidate to work on-site in Islamabad, ensuring hands-on management and direct engagement with the restaurant team and operations.
