Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the request queue using Jira: categorize incoming requests from Sales, Support, Marketing, and Partner teams, resolve straightforward issues, gather necessary information, and route complex requests to the appropriate owners with clear context.
- Perform day-to-day administration across the GTM stack, including user provisioning and deprovisioning in Salesforce, Outreach, Planhat, and other tools, managing licenses, updating permissions, and handling access requests.
- Diagnose and resolve errors and synchronization issues, such as Salesforce flow errors, integration failures, and data mismatches. Use runbooks for known problems and escalate new issues with detailed findings.
- Execute standard configuration tasks, including field additions, mapping updates, report and dashboard creation, list view and layout adjustments, picklist maintenance, and routine data imports.
- Maintain data hygiene by identifying and correcting duplicates, misrouted records, and enrichment gaps flagged by users or monitoring systems.
- Keep documentation up to date by maintaining runbooks, FAQs, and how-to guides to improve resolution times for common issues.
- Leverage AI tools daily (such as Claude and MCP-connected tools) to accelerate diagnosis, drafting, and repetitive tasks, while identifying opportunities for automation.
- Continuously learn by shadowing senior engineers on projects and gradually taking ownership of small enhancements from start to finish.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience administering Salesforce or similar GTM/business systems in a production environment.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce fundamentals, including user management, profiles and permission sets, reports, flows (reading and basic edits), and data loading.
- Exposure to at least one other GTM tool category such as sales engagement, customer success platforms, marketing automation, or data enrichment, with a strong desire to learn the full stack.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to forming hypotheses, testing, and documenting findings clearly for others.
- Excellent communication skills with a service-oriented mindset, able to set expectations and follow through with non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, especially regarding permissions and data integrity, understanding the risks involved in production changes.
- Comfortable using AI assistants in daily tasks and curious about expanding their use.
- Salesforce Administrator certification or progress toward it is a plus.
- Ability to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
