As a Roblox Game Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and launching engaging games and experiences on the Roblox platform. Working closely with a diverse team of designers, artists, and developers, you will use Roblox Studio and Lua scripting to create seamless gameplay, scalable systems, and immersive worlds that captivate players. Your responsibilities will include turning creative ideas into functional and enjoyable game mechanics while ensuring optimal performance across multiple devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Roblox games using Roblox Studio and Lua scripting.
- Collaborate effectively with game designers, artists, and product managers to translate concepts into functional gameplay elements.
- Build core gameplay systems, including mechanics, user interface, economy, and progression loops.
- Optimize game performance to deliver smooth experiences on PC, mobile, and console platforms.
- Implement multiplayer features, data storage solutions, and in-game monetization systems such as Robux transactions, Game Passes, and Developer Products.
- Test, debug, and iterate on game features to maintain quality, balance, and player engagement.
- Keep up to date with Roblox platform updates, trends, and community-driven features to integrate innovative elements into new projects.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Roblox Studio and proficiency in Lua programming.
- Proven track record of developing and publishing Roblox games or significant contributions to Roblox projects.
- Solid understanding of game development fundamentals, including gameplay design, UI/UX, and performance optimization.
- Ability to implement multiplayer systems, leaderboards, and in-game currency mechanics.
- Familiarity with Roblox APIs, platform services, and monetization models.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

This is a full-time remote position offering a competitive monthly salary in the range of Rs150,000 to Rs200,000.
