The Robotics Specialist role is a volunteer, remote position aimed at supporting learners as they engage in robotics and automation projects. This position involves guiding students through the design, construction, and testing of robotic systems and components. The specialist will facilitate hands-on labs, clarify core concepts in robotics and mechatronics, review project work, and provide constructive feedback to enhance both technical abilities and problem-solving skills. Collaboration with fellow volunteers to refine curriculum materials is also essential, ensuring content remains industry-relevant and accessible to underserved youth. Additionally, the specialist will help learners understand how their skills apply to real-world robotics and automation careers, fostering connections to workforce opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Support learners in designing, building, and testing robotics and automation projects.

Required Qualifications

- Ability to design, build, and troubleshoot basic robotics and automation projects within a learning environment.
- Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or technical training, especially with youth or underserved communities, is highly valued.
