We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and optimize daily warehouse activities across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth execution of shipments, maintain strict safety and compliance standards, and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage warehouse capacity, coordinate with various stakeholders, and uphold inventory accuracy while supporting cost management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Manage daily warehouse functions including loading, unloading, product stacking, and inventory control. Ensure shipments are executed efficiently to minimize delays and maintain smooth operations across multiple warehouse sites, even under high-pressure conditions. Support capacity planning efforts by assisting with hiring and de-hiring processes as needed.
Safety & Compliance
Maintain a zero-incident safety record by strictly enforcing HSE policies and procedures. Safeguard warehouse security and product integrity at all times. Ensure full compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), industry standards such as IFA, and all relevant legal requirements.
Inventory & Reporting
Accurately track and maintain inventory levels for products, equipment, empty bags, and related documentation. Monitor stock movements closely to identify shortages and exceptions, including ROSP, PER, and STR reports. Prepare and submit timely daily and monthly operational reports to support decision-making.
Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate effectively with trucking and handling contractors to ensure seamless warehouse operations. Work closely with sales and distribution teams to guarantee timely dispatch of goods. Manage coordination with dealers for direct product diversions, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution.
Cost & Efficiency Management
Promote operational efficiency by optimizing handling processes and reducing idle time within the warehouse. Assist in adhering to budget constraints and contribute to cost optimization initiatives to improve overall financial performance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations management is essential to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
