The successful candidate will collaborate closely with factory leadership, Steering and Local Committees, pillar members, and working groups to enhance SHE capabilities, strengthen governance, and drive the factory’s commitment to achieving zero accidents and zero waste. This position also involves challenging and supporting all functions to embed Nestlé Continuous Excellence principles, thereby maintaining consumer trust and preference.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the factory SHE Pillar Master Plan in alignment with the TPM reference guide and the overall factory master plan.
- Deploy the SHE Pillar methodology across the factory by delivering training and coaching to relevant teams.
- Ensure that SHE training materials and tools are accessible, well-understood, and consistently applied by pillar members and working groups.
- Align the SHE Pillar strategy with the Factory Steering Committee, Local Safety Committee, other pillar leaders, and related working groups to ensure cohesive efforts.
- Support factory committees in selecting SHE improvement projects and appointing suitable employees as SHE Pillar members.
- Coordinate SHE training plans, develop internal trainers, and build the capability of pillar members to independently deliver training sessions.
- Coach pillar members and working groups on SHE methodologies, including loss analysis, root-cause analysis, and improvement tools.
- Apply SHE governance routines rigorously to ensure all activities contribute effectively to the factory’s zero-loss objectives.
- Monitor SHE performance drivers, key performance indicators (KPIs), skills development, and assessment-gap closures, providing regular updates to the Market SHE Pillar Leader.
- Lead internal SHE Pillar assessments and SHE Working Group audits, ensuring timely resolution of any identified gaps.
- Identify, validate, and share best practices, benchmarking performance across factory lines and other factories within the market.
- Ensure full compliance with SHE management systems, applicable legal requirements, Nestlé standards, and WHO/local code requirements.

Required Qualifications

- A university degree or equivalent qualification in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- A recognized SHE certification such as a NEBOSH Diploma or an equivalent qualification is highly advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Safety, Health, and Environment within a manufacturing or factory setting. Proven track record in managing SHE operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage external stakeholders effectively, including regulatory authorities, contractors, auditors, and service providers, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational SHE requirements.
