Computer Marketing Company (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a Sales Account Manager – Corporate to join their Sales and Business Development team in Lahore or Islamabad. This role focuses on managing and growing enterprise, corporate, institutional, and public-sector accounts by driving new business and maintaining a qualified sales pipeline. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue and gross-margin targets through the sale of integrated enterprise IT infrastructure, data center, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and ICT solutions. This position demands strong B2B enterprise sales skills, solution selling, commercial negotiation expertise, and a solid understanding of Pakistan’s public and private procurement environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Account Acquisition: Identify and develop new enterprise and public-sector accounts. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers including CXOs, CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, IT Directors, and Procurement teams. Conduct account mapping to assess infrastructure and technology needs, and develop strategic account plans to foster long-term customer relationships.
- Solution-Based Selling: Translate customer requirements into comprehensive ICT solutions, emphasizing integrated offerings over isolated products. Collaborate with Presales and Solution Architects to prepare technical and commercial proposals, present solution architectures, and engage both technical and business stakeholders effectively.
- Sales & Opportunity Management: Manage the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract closure. Maintain accurate CRM data, forecast business outcomes, prioritize opportunities based on value and strategic importance, and ensure pipeline coverage aligns with targets.
- Public-Sector & PPRA Competency: Demonstrate practical experience with Pakistan’s public-sector ICT procurement, including knowledge of PPRA rules, tender processes (RFPs, RFQs, EOIs), bid documentation, compliance requirements, and coordination with internal teams for tender submissions.
- Government & Institutional ICT Market Knowledge: Possess working knowledge of government and institutional ICT ecosystems such as Ministry of IT & Telecom, Punjab Information Technology Board, PKCERT, federal and provincial departments, universities, banks, and large enterprises. Understand the complexities of public-sector procurement, including formal tendering and extended sales cycles.
- Private-Sector Contracting: Handle enterprise procurement processes including RFQs/RFPs, vendor registration, commercial proposals, framework agreements, pricing negotiations, contract terms, and renewal opportunities.
- Defense & Strategic Sector Exposure: Experience with defense or strategic-sector ICT contracting is advantageous, including understanding of procurement procedures, confidentiality, compliance, and long sales cycles.
- Commercial Negotiation & Contract Closure: Lead commercial negotiations, protect company margins, coordinate approvals, and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams.
- OEM & Technology Partner Management: Develop strong relationships with OEMs and technology partners to leverage special pricing, technical support, demonstrations, and joint engagements. Stay updated on OEM product roadmaps and certifications.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Presales Engineers, Solution Architects, Postsales, Project Delivery, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and OEM partners to ensure seamless transition from opportunity development to customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of enterprise ICT or IT solution sales experience with proven track record against sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline.
- Strong experience in selling complex, multi-technology ICT solutions with established enterprise or public-sector relationships.
- Proficiency in account mapping, business development, tender processes, and public procurement (PPRA).
- Excellent commercial negotiation, pipeline management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders, OEMs, and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development activities.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with technology and cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, ITIL, COBIT, Uptime Institute standards, PCI DSS, and relevant Pakistani ICT regulations.
- Relevant OEM credentials or demonstrated expertise across platforms like Dell Technologies, HPE, Cisco, VMware, Fortinet, and others.
- Exposure to defense or strategic-sector ICT projects is considered an advantage.
