Computer Marketing Company (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager – Corporate to join their Sales and Business Development team in Lahore or Islamabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing enterprise, corporate, institutional, and public-sector accounts by generating new business and developing a qualified sales pipeline. This role focuses on selling integrated ICT solutions including enterprise IT infrastructure, data center, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and virtualization technologies. The position demands strong B2B sales skills, solution selling, commercial negotiation expertise, and a solid understanding of Pakistan’s public and private procurement environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Account Acquisition: Identify and develop new enterprise and public-sector accounts. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers such as CXOs, CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, IT Directors, and Procurement teams. Conduct account mapping to identify infrastructure and technology needs, develop strategic account plans, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Solution-Based Selling: Translate customer requirements into integrated ICT solutions rather than standalone products. Collaborate with Presales and Solution Architects to prepare technical and commercial proposals, present solution architectures, and engage both technical and business stakeholders effectively.
- Sales & Opportunity Management: Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract closure, maintaining accurate CRM data, forecasting business, prioritizing opportunities, and ensuring pipeline coverage aligns with targets.
- Public-Sector & PPRA Competency: Demonstrate practical knowledge of Pakistan’s public-sector ICT procurement, including PPRA rules, tender processes, bid documentation, and coordination with internal teams for tender submissions. Manage public-sector opportunities from discovery to contract award.
- Government & Institutional Market Knowledge: Understand the government and institutional ICT ecosystem, including entities like the Ministry of IT & Telecom, Punjab Information Technology Board, PKCERT, federal and provincial departments, universities, banks, and telecom organizations. Recognize the complexities of formal procurement and extended sales cycles in this sector.
- Private-Sector Contracting: Experience managing private-sector procurement processes such as RFQs/RFPs, vendor registration, commercial negotiations, contract terms, purchase orders, and renewal opportunities.
- Defense & Strategic Sector Exposure: Familiarity with defense and strategic-sector ICT contracting, including procurement procedures, confidentiality, technical compliance, and long sales cycles, is advantageous.
- Commercial Negotiation & Contract Closure: Lead commercial negotiations, protect company margins, coordinate approvals, and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams while managing commercial risks and contractual obligations.
- OEM & Technology Partner Management: Develop expertise in assigned OEM portfolios, coordinate with partners for pricing, technical support, demonstrations, and joint engagements. Maintain awareness of product roadmaps and leverage partnerships to close deals.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Presales Engineers, Solution Architects, Postsales, Project Teams, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and OEMs to ensure seamless transition from opportunity development to delivery and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise ICT or IT solution sales with proven success in meeting sales and revenue targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline.
- Strong experience selling complex, multi-technology ICT solutions with established enterprise, institutional, or public-sector relationships.
- Demonstrated ability in account mapping, business development, and managing formal procurement processes including tenders and RFPs.
- Practical knowledge of PPRA and public procurement procedures.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills and ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in maintaining qualified sales pipelines and delivering compelling proposals and presentations.
- Willingness to travel for customer engagements and business development.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Working knowledge of relevant technology and cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, ITIL, COBIT, PCI DSS, and data center standards.
- Familiarity with Pakistani regulatory and procurement requirements, including government cybersecurity mandates.
- Relevant OEM sales or technical certifications from platforms like Dell Technologies, HPE, Cisco, VMware, Fortinet, and others are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exposure to defense or strategic-sector ICT projects is a plus.
